We are pleased to be working towards our Go Cornish Bronze Award.
We have welcome signs in Cornish and signage around the school is in Cornish.
We learn songs in Cornish and have been awards two Gorsedh Award for 2023.
 

Keslowena –Congratulations!  

On behalf of the Grand Bard of Cornwall Pol Hodge, Mab Stenek Veur , I am delighted to tell you that Madron School has been nominated to receive a Second Prize Gorsedh Kernow Young People’s Award in Ilow Kernewek aged 11-12 category for their Fatla Genes song.  This is given to individuals and groups who have promoted Cornish identity and culture in their community.  The nomination has been approved by the Awards Panel who were really delighted with the quality, range and exuberance of the entries this year.  Splann!
