Religious Education
As a Church School, RE is a priority of our school. It is considered a core subject so the teaching and learning of RE and standards achieved are closely monitored. Religious Education at St Mary's is based on the Cornwall Agreed Syllabus where Christianity is studied for more than 50% of the time. In Key Stage One the children also learn about Judaism, Islam and non-religious worldviews. At Key Stage Two this is extended to non-religious worldviews, Judaism, Islam and Hinduism.
