Nursery Leader at ‘Rise and Shine Nursery’ – Madron Daniel School, Madron, Penzance

Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) practitioner looking for a new opportunity to shine? Do you aspire to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children? If so, Rise and Shine Nursery at Madron School is searching for a dynamic Nursery Leader to join our nurturing community! This is a fantastic chance to lead an inspiring team, develop innovative practices, and play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our little learners.

Rise and Shine Nursery is undergoing significant development, and we are inviting you to be at the forefront of this exciting transformation. Our nursery is not just a place for children to play and learn; it is a vibrant environment where curiosity is sparked, imaginations are ignited, and foundational skills are nurtured. As we embark on this journey, we need a Nursery Leader who is passionate, knowledgeable, and ready to take initiative. If you have a love for children and a commitment to educational excellence, this could be the perfect role for you!

An Opportunity to Make a Difference

As the Nursery Leader, you will have the unique opportunity to influence the learning outcomes of our children aged 2 to 4 years old. This is a crucial time in their development, and your expertise will help cultivate their cognitive, social, and emotional growth. Working alongside the Nursery Assistant you will create a rich learning environment filled with engaging activities that resonate with the needs and interests of our children. Your efforts will support not only the individual growth of each child but also the overall ethos of Rise and Shine Nursery as a place where every child is respected and valued.

About Rise and Shine Nursery

Located within the welcoming grounds of Madron School, Rise and Shine Nursery is perfectly positioned to serve our community's needs. The nursery is designed to be a home away from home for our children, emphasising play-based learning that is both fun and educational. It is the foundation for our children’s educational journey through the school.

Our educators are committed to providing an inclusive environment that embraces diversity, fostering respect and understanding amongst our young learners. By prioritising the emotional and social development of our children, we aim to ensure that each child feels safe, happy, and ready to explore.

The nursery is equipped with a range of resources to facilitate learning and exploration—everything from arts and crafts materials to outdoor play areas, including our recently developed Forest School. We believe that the world is a child's classroom, and we encourage exploration, creativity, and discovery in every aspect of their development.

What We Offer

Joining Rise and Shine Nursery at Madron means becoming part of a fantastic school that values collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement. In this role, you will have access to professional development opportunities, allowing you to stay at the forefront of early years education.

In addition, as this position is term-time only, you will have the benefit of time off during school holidays, allowing for a better work-life balance. This structure helps to ensure that you remain rejuvenated and ready to give your best to our children.

The Person We Are Looking For

To excel in this role, you will need to possess an excellent understanding of the EYFS Framework and children's developmental milestones.
